Royal Blind is a national charity that provides services for the blind. We provide education, care and employment for those with a visual impairment and fund medical research that will help to prevent and cure blindness in the future.
We operate three distinct services:
The Royal Blind School A school that offers the highest quality of education and care for children and young people with little or no vision so that they become successful learners, responsible citizens, confident individuals and effective contributors to society.
Braeside House An award-winning care home provides first class services and facilities for older people who are blind or visually impaired, offering care in purpose built premises.
Scottish Braille Press A leading producer of alternative formats in the UK such as Braille, Large Print and Audio.
