Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland's leading specialist dementia charity working throughout the country to provide care and support to people with dementia, their families and carers.
The charity provides practical services on over 60 sites throughout Scotland offering day care, home support and carer support groups. We publish booklets, reports and a quarterly newsletter keeping carers, people with dementia and professionals up to date.
Our public policy work directed to lobbying the Scottish Parliament and Westminster includes policy analysis, briefings and activities to raise public awareness. We also carry out medical and social research.
Our 24 hour Dementia Helpline 0808 808 3000 and our website www.alzscot.org provide expert information about dementia and the services of Alzheimer Scotland With over 60,000 people in Scotland with dementia, demand for our help continually increases. We rely on fundraising to keep our Services running as they are and we would be delighted to welcome you to our team! We will happily provide sponsorship forms, t-shirts and hand-waving flags along with a medal for all walkers!
